What is Midmap?

Organize information in nodes
A board presents relationships between ideas as a mind map. Nodes form a hierarchy, and each node can hold full content for background, analysis, and conclusions. Nodes support Markdown descriptions, to-dos, custom markers, images, and external links.
Work with compatible agent apps
Midmap includes an MCP service that connects to compatible agent apps. Agents can read board content, organize information into nodes and hierarchies, and make changes to a board. Midmap does not include a built-in agent or AI model; agent features require a separately installed and configured compatible app.
Keep work focused on a topic
Mention a node by name in a conversation so your agent can find the topic. You can also select a node in Midmap to continue discussing it, or leave a message on a node for your agent to receive in the next conversation.
Review agent changes round by round
Midmap shows agent activity and operation notices. You can keep or undo each round of changes. Additions, updates, and child-node removals are marked with colors to help you review them.

Midmap is a local client. Your board data is stored on your device.
